April Gabriellé, a single mother of two, and author to " The Myth Of A Broken Home ". She says that her biggest accomplishment is raising two children alone. They became Well rounded individuals her daughter being an undergraduate studying cell molecule biology and her son is a Ph.D. candidate in biomedical sciences. She totally beat the statistics on where her children should be, with a single mom for their parents. She says her greatest accomplishment professionally would be that she was awarded a BBA in Business Administration, MA in human behavior and completed graduate coursework for education and criminal justice. She says education opened many doors for her in times of hardship. She has always had a passion for helping others. She says Woodbury university definitely helped her pressure her career endeavors. She is a true example of someone who values education and employment and I aspire to be like her!

When reading the article about the 6 secrets to success in college a few stood out to me that I could use my own self. The first one I found to be very useful is to show up to every class. This is extremely fundamental when succeeding in college. If you miss one class meeting, your whole understanding of the content at hand can be thrown off. The next rule I thought to be very useful is to be undistracted, this is super important! if you come to class but didn't pay attention, you may as well had not even come to class. When in college meeting with the other students is crucial, when you have a group project things will not flow smoothly if you don't coordinate with other students. Those are the rules I've found most useful!
